I can not believe my last post was August of last year! Things have been so busy and growing so fast that I just haven't had the time to update the blog. I promise to be better and more consistent. There is a lot happening in 2015 with a ton of products currently in production and more collections on the way. And don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook as updates happen here more frequently!
Today, I would like to announce the opening of my shop on Nuvango. Nuvango has been around for many years under the name Gela Skins. It was the first phone skin/case company I ever came across. I actually use to buy my iPod skins from them back in the day. I am super excited about their products and my shop. I actually opened the shop and ordered the design below. I am patiently waiting for it to arrive.
Might I add that they have skins and cases for over 30 different phones! Below are 2 more of my favorites. Be sure to stop by my shop and take a look around.
Have you started following Colossal? I LOVE their posts! They are always introducing me to artists that are so inspiring. Last week they posted about Hinke Schreuders. She alters 1950's fashion photography with hand stitched embroidery. All I can say is WOW! The images, the embroidery, the colors....I am so inspired!
Changes are in the air. Maybe it is the change in weather that brings on this feeling of wanting change. Craving change. Wanting to make things better. Wanting growth. Growth in my business and growth in my personal life. Making a habit of saying yes to unexpected opportunities. Recently, I said yes to a volunteer opportunity with the local arts council. Thinking about how important art was in my formative years ignites a passion in me to ensure art is accessible to the next generation.
This poster was on the back of an AIGA brochure I picked up at an Adobe conference. It really said what I have been feeling lately. It is now hanging above my desk as a constant reminder to make a difference and do great things.
Are you making a difference and doing great things? I would love for you to share it in the comments.
