salt air

First there was Magical, then Isabella. Now, without further ado, the third collection in a series of three and one closest to my heart, Salt Air

Back in October 2012, my sweetheart and I spent three weeks in Bali. A dream come true vacation. We spent the days visiting stunning sites, eating exotic fruits and relaxing by the beach...breathing in the salt air. After several days on the island of Bali, we packed up and decided to explore three nearby islands called Gili. After a harrowing hydrofoil boat ride, we quickly fell in love with Gili Air and stayed for over a week. No cars, no noise, no fresh water. We took salt water showers, biked around the island, and napped on the beach. I spent time painting, dreaming, thinking about my business and envisioning its growth. It was an amazing three weeks.

I share this backstory with you because it illustrates how important travel and exploration is to me and my work. Below are photos a few photos from the trip and of the work itself. Don't worry, the collection is shown below.

In Indonesian the word "air" means water which is nice play on words for this collection called Salt Air.
