Back in January, I attended my first CHA trade show in LA. I walked the HUGE convention center with my friend Suzan. We really had no idea what to expect. But some exciting things happened while we were there...
One booth in particular stood out from the rest, it was for a scrap booking company called GCD Studios. Ironically they also won the CHA "Exhibiting with Excellence" award!
To make a long story short, I approached the booth, had an impromptu interview and about a month later I was designing my first collection.
And here it is! Home for the Holidays! You can find it at Michaels. I am so excited! You have no idea how long I have wanted to share this. More good news...they are launching a few more of my collections at the next CHA trade show at the end of January. You can bet I will be there!
About the book: The book is 48 pages double sided! And some of the paper has interesting techniques like glitter and lacquer! I am most excited to create a few Christmas cards with the papers. If you use these papers in any way, please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org as I would love to post them here and on my flicker page.
Some of my favorite combinations.
My in-laws were the first to spot the book at Michaels in Ohio. Since I am not currently in the states, I haven't seen it in person. But they sent me some photos. See below.
