As the daughter of an artist, I’ve been creating all my life, but printmaking has become my most personal and expressive medium. I specialize in linoleum block printing, drawn to the tactile process, bold shapes, and the meditative rhythm of carving by hand. My work explores themes of texture, repetition, and textile-inspired pattern, often combining block prints with hand stitching.
After founding my art licensing business nearly 20 years ago, I spent years designing to creative briefs—something I still enjoy for its problem-solving challenges. But recently, I’ve been shifting focus toward more personal work. This exploration has deepened my connection to my practice and unexpectedly enriched my commercial design work.
Travel is a key source of inspiration. I lived in Budapest for four years and have since attended creative retreats in India, France, Mexico, and across the U.S. These experiences offer space to reset and reconnect with what matters most in my art.
In April 2025, I was an artist-in-residence at Château Orquevaux in France, where I created a collection of linoleum block prints inspired by lace, process, and handwork. That time, surrounded by fellow artists, reinforced the importance of creative community—something that continues to shape and inspire my practice today.
