These hearts were born from my love of clay and collage—a blend of textures, stories, and hands-on play. There’s something deeply satisfying about shaping something from nothing, letting your hands guide the form, and then layering it with pieces of the past—old paper, forgotten ephemera, tiny treasures. It’s a process that feels both grounding and expressive, and every heart becomes its own little world.
August 6 (5:30-8:00), Day 1: On Day 1, we’ll shape our hearts using molding clay and leave them to air dry. Then we’ll begin to build our visual story—playing with old papers, vintage ephemera, and any personal touches you’d like to bring (think buttons, ribbon, charms, or small keepsakes).
August 13 (5:30-8:00), Day 2: On Day 2, we’ll dive into the collage process, layering your materials around the heart and the box to create a piece that’s deeply personal and full of texture.
